June Cavlan

New York City-based vocalist, arranger, and composer June Cavlan brings a fresh, modern voice to the jazz tradition. Known for her luminous tone, expressive phrasing, and inventive arrangements, Cavlan bridges classic jazz sensibility with contemporary storytelling.

She is one-third of the acclaimed vocal trio The Sunhouse Singers, whose intricate harmonies and genre-blurring performances have earned recognition across the New York jazz scene and beyond.

As a solo artist and collaborator, Cavlan’s work draws inspiration from jazz legends while embracing influences from folk, chamber music, and modern vocal ensembles. Her performances are intimate yet expansive, marked by emotional depth and refined musicianship.

Her Fillmore Jazz Festival appearance features selections from her original repertoire alongside reimagined jazz standards, delivered with her signature warmth and artistry.
