Parking
Fillmore Street closes to traffic during the festival (July 4–5). We recommend arriving early or using public transit — Muni lines 22 and 38 stop right on Fillmore.
Japan Center Garages
The Japan Center complex has multiple garages with entrances on Geary Blvd and Fillmore Street — the closest parking to the festival.
⏰ Festival tip: Arrive before 10:00 am to secure a spot before the crowds arrive.
California & Steiner Garage
📍 California St & Steiner St, San Francisco
A convenient city-operated garage at the top of the festival on California Street. Great option if you’re visiting vendors and artists in the upper Fillmore blocks.
Fillmore Heritage Garage — Lot #209

The Fillmore Heritage Garage sits right on Fillmore Street at the heart of the festival. Operated by Impark, Lot #209 is one of the most convenient options for the event.
Getting Here by Transit
Muni Line 22 is redirected to Steiner street along the length of the festival
Muni Line 38 runs along Geary Blvd, one block south of the festival.
Nearest BART: Civic Center – take the 38, or Embarcadero, take the 1 California.
