Fillmore Jazz Festival 2026
Caribbean Allstars with the Harmonics Steelband bring together reggae, calypso, soca, and the vibrant traditions of Caribbean steel pan music in a performance rooted in decades of Bay Area musical history. Originally founded in the 1970s by Trinidad-born drummer Hugh “Sweetfoot” Maynard, Caribbean Allstars have long blended reggae rhythms with the sounds and traditions of the Caribbean diaspora.
Joining them are the Harmonics Steelband, a Bay Area ensemble that has spent more than 25 years performing throughout Northern California at festivals, concerts, weddings, and community celebrations. Known for their dynamic steel pan performances and infectious Caribbean grooves, the group brings a versatile repertoire spanning calypso, reggae, bossa nova, contemporary music, and island classics.
