Mission Delirium returns to the Fillmore Jazz Festival as a beloved crowd favorite, bringing their electrifying street performances back to Fillmore Street.
This vibrant San Francisco-based 20-piece brass and percussion ensemble is known for its high-energy sound, infectious rhythms, and immersive performances that transform the street into a spontaneous celebration. Blending global influences including Balkan brass, Brazilian samba, Afro-pop, Middle Eastern grooves, Bollywood rhythms, and salsa, Mission Delirium creates a powerful, dance-driven musical experience unlike anything else at the festival.
More than a performance, Mission Delirium is an event. Their musicians move through the crowd, encouraging participation and creating a joyful, communal atmosphere that captures the spirit of the Fillmore.
The ensemble features members from some of the Bay Area’s most dynamic musical groups, including What Cheer? Brigade, Extra Action Marching Band, LoCura, and Brass Liberation Orchestra. Their performances have energized audiences across San Francisco and on international tours in Europe.
Their return to the Fillmore Jazz Festival promises one of the weekend’s most festive and unforgettable experiences.
