The Fillmore Heritage Center at 1330 Fillmore Street has reopened its doors for the first time in years, hosting a full weekend of community programming alongside the 2026 Fillmore Jazz Festival. Once home to the legendary Yoshi’s jazz club, the building is back as a neighborhood cultural hub — with workshops, panels, film screenings, and healing arts filling the Koret Heritage Lobby and Screening Room on July 4–5.

What does reparations look like in San Francisco — and how do we get there? This panel brings together community leaders, advocates, and historians to discuss the local and national movement for reparations, what meaningful repair could look like for the Fillmore’s Black community, and the path forward.

Free admission. Screening Room, 1330 Fillmore Street.
